Separate facts, clear sources

Mapped campsite identities come from OpenStreetMap through the shared adhocstats POI inventory. Public charging locations come from adhocstats source feeds. Those records establish location, not permission to charge at a campsite.

What “confirmed” means

A current source supports the individual claim. On-site charging also requires an explicit relationship between the campsite and its charging area. Guest permission and overnight use are checked separately. We group the supporting links and dates on the relevant detail page. A website check is not an inspection, a reservation or a live availability guarantee.

Freshness and uncertainty

Research expires after at most 90 days and stops qualifying for confirmed filters until rechecked. Shorter periods apply to seasonal or changing information. Missing details and expired claims are not treated as a confirmed “no”. Reported charger availability is suppressed after 30 minutes.

How we order results

Current on-site charging comes first, followed by campsite name. Filters require a positive source for the selected detail; we never combine permissions from one charging area with equipment from another to produce a match. Nearby alternatives favour short distances and include higher-power options within 10 km. We display no invented EV score, star rating or guest review.

Corrections and business submissions

Submissions enter a private review queue. They do not update public facts automatically. A reviewer must verify the campsite identity, source, charging relationship and permission before accepting a change. Unlicensed business photos are not displayed.
